The company is a long-, and well-established industrial Fan Manufacturer based in the NW region of the UK. Focusing on its background in sheet metal working the business specialises in the construction and development of industrial centrifugal and axial fans for a wide variety of market sectors based both nationally and internationally. Due to continued growth and in line with the company’s expansion plans the business in now looking to recruit a National Business Development Sales Manager.
Based from home you will provide a solution- based sales approach to clients. Travelling 70% of the week you will identify new business, visit sites, and convert potential business into established repeatable business.
As an experienced sales professional you will develop excellent client business relationships, develop your business strategy and plan your work to meet the sales targets set by the business.
Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the technical sales team to maximise all potential opportunities, you will assist in brand development with input into all marketing activities to drive sales.
This role is pivotal in the further development of the business. The successful candidate will be expected to grow a team around them as part of the role development.
Ideally you will have a proven track record of selling into the Industrial Fan Market, with a technical background and excellent market awareness.

- Experienced in winning profitable repeat volume business in the I.F.M.
- Have advanced selling skills with a new business focus, commercially savvy, and numerate.
- Have an excellent technical knowledge of the I.M.F.
- Have a realistic outlook with a logical approach to sales.
- Have a can- do attitude.
